Casal Sta. Maria wines are the expression of the unique terroir that encompasses the vineyards, planted between the Atlantic ocean and the Sintra mountains. The grapes are harvested and carefully selected by hand, being crushed afterwards and pressed in cold.

As a natural barrier, the Sintra mountain magnifies the influence of the Atlantic ocean, with coastal salty fog as the often scenery. The result are wines that remind us of the sea and the hilltops; very aromatic, mineral, refreshing acidity, elegant, balanced and the peculiarity of having savory salty notes.
